How do you deal with people that think and act like they are better then you, and others?

Help me please! I know this lady that is unbearable and so mean when she can't have her way. I have to deal with her at times b/c of my friend and b/c she is from the Church, but when I do I can't hardly contain myself. She is talked about and the saddest thing is that she is not aware of her rudeness. I hear her say so many times how she's been hurt and how she's the one to have to confront the people for it, and that she has never been confronted for offences. If you only knew how I want to confront her for the ill treatment she gives me. I am resolved to stay away from her b/c she has really hurt and humiliated me in front of others. Please give me your good advise I don't want to treat her the way she's treated me, but I do want to let her have. How do I do it?
