How do I talk to my socially awkward crush?

whats worked for me is to realize that they probably think theyre awkward around you also. he seems like he's shy as well. Ive had a situation similar to this, im now dating the girl. just next time you talk with him, try and realize hes more than likely feeling what you are too, relax, smile, and try to keep convo going! thats a big one, lead him into subjects he might want to talk about, also try texting/ facebook chat... its good practice for the real thing since you dont have to be face to face
